I’m Roberto “Berto The VO” Jolliffe, a Texas-based promo, trailer and live event voice. I voiced an HBO Max promo for Jerrod Carmichael’s reality series, announced at the Concacaf Gold Cup, and was a 2024 One Voice Awards nominee for Outstanding Live Event Announcer (Voice of God). Whether it’s a network tune-in, a stadium intro or a keynote walk-on, I bring the authority and energy that make an audience lean in.
My voice career started as an intern on a Clear Channel morning radio show, and I still get a rush from that split second before the mic goes live. Nothing beats a crowd going quiet right before the big intro.

It’s the off-stage announcer voice at live events: introducing speakers and performers, reading sponsor messages and guiding the audience through the show.
Can you pre-record announcements for my event?
Yes. I record each announcement as its own file, named and ordered to match your run of show, so your team can play them on cue.
Can you announce in person at my event?
Yes. I’m available for in-person announcing when travel and accommodations are arranged. Send your date and location to get started.
