Commercial Voice Over for TV, Radio & Digital

I’m Roberto “Berto The VO” Jolliffe, a Texas-based commercial voice actor, and I love making a 30-second spot feel like a conversation with a friend. Brands like Del Taco, Pop-Tarts, Burger King, Beyond Meat and Liquid I.V. have trusted my voice to tell their story on TV, radio, streaming and social. I’m a One Voice Awards nominee for Best Radio Commercial Performance, Male, in both 2025 and 2026, and I deliver broadcast-ready audio from my home studio, usually within 24 hours.

Commercial work

Other brands I’ve voiced for include Old Spice, PepsiCo, Kellogg’s, Mountain Dew, Frito-Lay, Visa, John Deere, NASCAR, Nike, McDonald’s, Google and Adobe x Live Nation. See the full portfolio.

The sound

Think of me as your brand’s best friend on the mic. Deep, rich and conversational when a spot needs trust; bright and high-energy when it needs to pop. My range covers General American and African American reads, with a playable age of about 13 to 55.

  • Conversational and real-person: the relatable guy next door
  • Warm and trustworthy: banking, education, healthcare and community
  • Energetic and hype: food, snacks, drinks and sports
  • Urban and authentic: culture-forward brands and campaigns
  • Retail and announcer: hard-sell, promos and tags
  • Automotive: dealer and regional campaigns

Commercial FAQ

How much does a commercial voice over cost?

It depends on where the spot runs (TV, radio, online or social), the markets, and how long it will run. Send the script, media, markets and usage term, and I’ll put together a quote.

Do you work union or non-union commercials?

I work non-union and am SAG-AFTRA eligible.

How fast can you turn around a spot?

Most commercial scripts are recorded, edited and delivered within 24 hours.

Can you match a reference spot or a specific style?

Yes. Send a reference or direction and I’ll match the energy, pace and attitude, and give you a few options to choose from.

Can you do a live-directed session?

Yes, over Source-Connect or Zoom, so your team can direct the read in real time.
